No. There is no entrance test for SSE programmes. Selection is based on the application submitted. Candidates are selected on the basis of merit from the application.

The application fee is Rs. 200 per programme applied for (online payment only). Candidates can apply for one or a maximum of three programmes in a single application, paying Rs. 200 per programme.

Yes. A student may apply for one programme or a maximum of three programmes. Application forms for each programme must be filled separately with separate application fees. However, if a student applies for more than one programme, admission will be confirmed only for the programme for which fees are paid within the stipulated timeframe.

Admission is considered confirmed only after: (1) verification of original certificates, (2) payment of the refundable caution deposit of Rs. 5,000, and (3) payment of the first instalment of programme fees. Until then, admission is 'provisional.'

Candidates must upload scanned copies of all required documents during the online application. Original mark sheets and pass certificates must be submitted as mandatory requirements during the document verification process. Specific documents vary by programme.

Candidates who fail to deposit the refundable caution deposit and first instalment of fees within the stipulated date and time will be denied admission at SSE. The offer of admission will stand cancelled and no correspondence will be entertained.

A Service Provider is a local partner identified by SSE to facilitate theory lecture delivery and coordinate students' OJT with industry Knowledge Partners. Students must fill in the Service Provider code during application wherever applicable, based on their chosen location.

Yes. SSE will only offer admission in programmes where there is a viable minimum batch size of 30 students in the chosen location. If minimum enrolment is not met, the programme may not commence at that location.

No. No correspondence will be made to candidates who are not selected for admission. Only selected candidates will be notified about the next steps.

The programme fee for most Bachelor programmes is approximately Rs. 52,800 per annum. However, fees vary by programme and industry partner. Refer to the specific programme page or the official brochure for exact fees.

The examination fee is Rs. 1,600 per semester (Rs. 3,200 per annum) for Bachelor programmes. For some PG Diploma programmes, examination fees are Rs. 2,500 per semester (Rs. 5,000 per annum).

A one-time refundable caution deposit of Rs. 5,000 is applicable for all programmes. This amount is refunded to the student at the end of the programme, subject to conditions.

SSE provides flexible fee payment options: students can pay fees either quarterly or bi-annually (semester-wise). The first instalment of Rs. 5,000 must be paid to confirm admission.

No. The programme fees do not include lodging and boarding facilities, even during campus immersion at TISS SSE. Students must arrange and pay for their own accommodation. TISS SSE will facilitate help in finding suitable lodging wherever possible.

No. Hostel facilities are not available for any of the TISS SSE skill programmes. Students must arrange their own accommodation. Local support will be provided wherever possible.

Online examination fee payment is available through the SVE portal at https://sve.tiss.edu/TISS/index.php?p=exampayment. Course fees can also be paid online through the designated payment portal on the SSE website.

Yes. In addition to programme and examination fees, there are certification charges applicable upon successful completion of the programme. The exact charges vary by programme and are mentioned in the programme fee structure in the official brochure.

SSE has defined refund rules. If a student's admission is cancelled due to ineligibility found after selection/admission/course commencement, fees will be refunded as per the refund rule clauses.
